Le Jardin d'Emilie - Wedding Florist

Emilie Shaw, owner and floral designer of Le Jardin d’Emilie Flower Shoppe began her business in 2002 in a small retail location in the heart of Muskoka, the quaint little village of Port Carling. As a resident of the Muskoka area for more than ten years, she has had the opportunity to see the fast paced changing trends, and relish in the long lasting traditions that make the area a prime vacationing area. With that as inspiration she has been elbow deep in flower pails since she helped design her own wedding flowers in 2001, and has been designing, creating and collaborating with brides and grooms ever since. "Weddings are such an important day in the lives of a couple, and I am so honored to be a part of that!"

At the end of the 2005 summer season, she decided to focus primarily on weddings and special events, and chose to close the retail store. "I’m sad to see it {the store} close, but I’m really excited to be able to focus solely on these special events, without the daily distractions of the shop." She can now be reached by phone or email to make an appointment either at her home office, or on site at the event location.
